Michael "Mike" Elliott's Obituary
Michael Allen Elliott passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on a Father’s Day son, he lived a life marked by strong opinions, deep love, and a knack for doing things his own way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcella and William Elliott; his brother William; his ex-wife and friend, Eleanor Robinette; and his beloved bird Ziggy.
He is survived by his siblings Alice Elliott, Patricia Hitt, Lisa Coleman, and Bradley Elliott; his daughter Rebecca Elliott (Douglas Testerman); grandchildren Blake and Audrey Testerman; and his recently discovered daughter Sheryl Sherrod and her children. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and dear friends each with their own “Mike” stories.
Michael was a guitar player, a machinist, and a kind soul with a famously stubborn streak. He held both a soft heart and a sharp edge- equal parts tenderness and grit.
He found joy in music, working with his hands, frequenting the “Lakeland Memories” Facebook group, spending time on his computer, and the quiet companionship of his bird, Bebe. He often signed off with the words: Stay positive.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm concluding the visitation.
