My heart goes out to all of my oldest friend's family. Mike and I were close friends through elementary school at Westport along with his sister Patty. He was like a giant to me as I and my brother Robin were the short kids. Mike took several smacks from other kids to which I'd jump in to fend them off. He never complained nor struck back which showed me he had a kind heart. I lost contact with him when I went into military service, but I thank him and God that after years of separation I found my friend again, even if just for a short time. Mike, you helped shape a part of me my friend and I hope to see you again on the other side. Bless you my kind soul giant and friend.
