On June 1, 2025 Charles “Chuck” F. Shade, Sr. passed away. Beloved husband of Peggy Shade. Cherished son of the late Christine Nightengale, the late John Shade, Sr. and the late Lynda Shade. Treasured father of Alica Cross and husband Robert and Charles “Chuckie" Shade, Jr. Dear brother of John Shade, Jr. and wife Lisa, Michael Shade, the late Robert Shade, the late Amanda Wagner, the late Leisa Dejong and husband Clyde. Loving grandfather Kami Shump, Keagan Shump, and Bell Underkoffler. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Chuck was an avid poker player, and loved fishing as well as his job. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, and brother. Overall Chuck was a great person.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Saturday, June 14 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm concluding the visitation. Interment will be private.
