William Robert "Bobby" Cucina's Obituary
William Robert “Bobby” Cucina, 74, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on Patapsco Street on May 31, 2026. Born on June 28, 1951, in Baltimore, Bobby was the beloved son of the late Anthony and Mamie Cucina. He lived a full and vibrant life marked by laughter, loyalty, and deep love for those around him.
A proud graduate of Southern High School in Baltimore, Bobby answered the call to serve his country as a United States Marine. He carried the discipline, camaraderie, and quiet strength of that brotherhood throughout his life. He was a longtime member of the Pub Club and the Par 6 Golf Club, where his quick wit and infectious personality made him the life of every gathering.
Bobby’s greatest joy came from simple pleasures: sinking a long putt on the golf course, cheering for his beloved Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, and gathering with family and friends at the beach. He had a sparkling sense of humor that could light up any room—an irrepressible storyteller and gentle tease whose laughter was contagious and whose presence turned ordinary moments into memories worth cherishing. To know Bobby was to smile more often and love life a little deeper.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna; his daughter, Rebecca; his cherished grandson, Matteo; his sister Lillian Swift and her husband John; his brothers Anthony Cucina, Jr., and Michael; and many beloved nephews, nieces, and friends. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Gunnar, who was a constant companion. He was predeceased by his brother Charles.
In accordance with Bobby’s wishes, he has been cremated and there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in his memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association. Donations can be made at:

Bobby’s spirit—warm, witty, and wonderfully alive—will continue to echo in the stories told, the golf balls struck, and the Orioles games watched. He was the heart of the party, the glue of the family, and a man who truly lived every day with joy. Those who loved him will carry his laughter in their hearts forever.
