On Saturday, August 19, 2023, William Carl Herd, Sr. “Pappy” passed away. Beloved husband of Cathy Herd. Treasured father of William C. Herd, Jr. and wife Erica. Dear brother of the late Vera, the late Anna, the late George, Jr., the late Joe, the late Nora, the late Leonard, Robert Sr. and Erma. Cherished grandfather of Dustin, William III, Chris, Courtney, Nick, Bryan, Skilar, Wyatt and Jesse. Loving great-grandfather Josh, Aiden, Dustin, Liam, Camden, Isabella, Lilly, Laney, Gabby, Teagan, Lylah, Brynlee, Leilany, Colt and Eleanor. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 8:30pm at the funeral home concluding the visitation.
