On Monday, August 28, 2023 Wayne Conrad Retz passed away. Beloved grandson of the late Carl “Pop” Retz, the late Juanita Retz, the late Sophia Arenz, the late John White, and the late Emma Coffey. Cherished son of the late Elvira Singer and the late Nicholas Singer, William Retz, Sr. and wife, the late Anna. Devoted husband Katherine Retz. Treasured father Carrie Remmell, Shawn Retz and wife Emily, Robert Retz and wife Shannon, and Elysia Retz and fiance Joey. Admired grandfather of Elisabeth Retz and Aubrey Retz. Dear brother of the late Lorraine Vecchioni and husband Otts, the late David Stitt and wife Marsha, William Retz and wife Linda, and Dennis Stitt. Loving nephew of the late Carl “Butch” Retz, Jr. and wife the late Barbara and Janet Mckenny and husband Donald. Cherished uncle of Cortney Stitt and Heather Allen and husband Steven. Dear extended family of Kim and Jobie Waldt. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 7:30pm at the funeral home concluding the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Saint Jude hospital and American Cancer Society.
