Teodoro "Teo" Masing's Obituary
Teodoro “Teo” M. Masing passed away on August 4, 2025. Loving son of the late Teodoro and Cleta Masing. Cherished brother to the late Barbara Jackson and husband Henry, the late Iris Novak and husband Doug, the late Ira “Bill” Krenzer and wife Debbie, Debbie Carr and husband the late Mike, Millie Hessie and husband the late Larry, Stanley “Boe” Krenzer and wife Roberta, Sharon LaMartina and husband Charlie, Ronald Krenzer and wife Kathryn, Donald Krenzer, Curtis Masing and wife Peggy and many loving nieces and nephews.
Teo was known for a great sense of humor and strong wit, he was free spirited, fun, artistic and musical. A true Baltimorean, Teo rooted for the Ravens and Orioles. He loved playing guitar and listened to all types of music from hard rock, to jazz and classical. He loved all the arts and especially loved painting. Teo even had a passion for cooking, especially Filipino food. When he was younger he even studied several forms of martial arts. He was an oyster shucker at Nick’s Seafood where he got to know many different people.
Teo did a lot of traveling but as he got older he found a new passion for nature where he would enjoy camping and fishing. He had a long career as a longshoreman, but even as he got older people would say that he had an adventurous soul. Teo had a lot of friends and being very charismatic, he was usually the center of attention in a room. To all who knew Teo they would say he was a free spirit, and to his nieces and nephews he was the fun loving uncle.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Wednesday, August 13, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 11:00am at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
