Suzanne Vidal's Obituary
Suzanne Vidal, born in the Bronx, New York, passed away May 24th surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, passionate traveler, writer, photographer, and explorer whose warmth, curiosity, and adventurous spirit touched all who knew her.
Suzanne was the beloved daughter of Edwin Grosso and Anne Guinan Grosso, who passed away in 2016. After a lifetime of love and adventure together, she now joins her husband, Nicolas Vidal, who passed away earlier this year.
She is survived by her daughters, Madeleine Vidal and her wife Kara Trent, Angelica Vidal, and Pia Vidal, who were the center of Suzanne’s world. She also leaves behind her brothers, Ted Grosso and his wife Cheryl Grosso, and Andy Grosso.
A graduate of Wayland High School and Endicott College, Suzanne lived a colorful and international life, residing in seven different countries throughout her lifetime. Her favorite saying was carpe diem — seize the day — and she lived by it completely. She embraced the world with openness and wonder, always seeking new experiences, meaningful connections, and beauty in everyday moments.
Suzanne had a deep love for storytelling through both writing and photography. Whether traveling to a new place or simply spending time with the people she loved most, she approached life with creativity, humor, and heart.
Above all else, Suzanne cherished her daughters. Her strength, compassion, adventurous nature, and unconditional love will continue to live on through her family and the many people whose lives she touched.
She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
