Robert "Bob" Edward Davis' Obituary
On October 30, 2024 Robert “Bob” Edward Davis passed away. Beloved son of the late Walter R. Davis, Sr. and the late Shirley Reynolds and husband the late William H. Smith. Cherished brother of Brian Davis and Carol Smith. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Bob founded Davis Ship Service in 1980 and became the owner of Maryland Nautical Sales in 1985. Bob was known as a good business person who provided great opportunities to his employees. He was a forward thinker who went from a 2 story row house to a thriving business. He was an avid reader, he loved the beach and he loved the ocean. Bob will be remembered as a generous man.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm. Funeral service will take place at 4:30pm concluding the visitation.
