Robert Arthur Arnold's Obituary
On October 20, 2024 Robert “Bob” Arnold passed away. Only beloved son of the late Alice Evelyn Arnold (nee Waltz) and the late Henry Edgar Arnold. Bob is survived by many cherished loved ones and dear friends from South Baltimore.
Bob was born and raised in Brooklyn Park. After graduating high school in 1965, he began his career with the B & O Railroad and joined the United States Army in November 1966, where he served as a clerk in Korea. After serving in the Army, Bob returned to Baltimore and continued his career with the railroad, later as an auditor for CSX. He retired after more than 40 years of service.
Bob was a man with many passions. He was a collector, music lover, entertainer, and trivia genius with a vast knowledge of movies and music. He had a DJ and karaoke business and was known as the King of Sing. He was a tried-and-true Baltimore sports fan, he loved the Ravens, Orioles, and Colts (until they moved to Indianapolis). He loved the holidays, especially Christmas, and making his famous eggnog, which he shared with family and friends. His knowledge of music was unmatched. After his retirement, he enjoyed collecting music, visiting record stores, and attending record shows with friends.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM at the funeral home concluding the visitation. Immediately following the funeral service, procession from the funeral home will lead to interment at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
