Richard David Sies Jr's Obituary
Suddenly, while on his way to work on the morning of Tuesday, September 26, 2023, +Richard "Richie" Sies, Jr. was very unexpectedly taken from us. At the time of his passing, +Richie was fifty-seven (b. October 1, 1965).
+Richie was the dear husband of the Tracy (née Dore) Sies. He was the very devoted father of Audrey, Matthew, Kate, and Abigail Sies. He also leaves behind his loving parents Richard Sr. and Georgia Sies, and his sister Paula and her husband Steve Rubin.
His family also included in-law brothers and sisters Michael and Pat Dore, Friar Timothy Dore, OFM Conv., Nancy and the late +Douglas Bruchman, Kelly and Toby Sheehan, and Trish and Michael Jackson. +Richie was the beloved uncle of fourteen nieces and nephews: Max, Jack and Ben Rubin, Hannah (and Jeff Schaeffer), Christian, Caroline and Benjamin Bruchman; Luke, Carina, Jack and Patrick Sheehan; and Madison, Riley and Piper Jackson. He’s also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
+Richie’s family invites friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. (1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230) on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Church (1212 Chesaco Ave, Rosedale, MD 21237), on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.Immediately after the Funeral Mass the family invites their friends and family to a joyful celebration of +Richie’s life. Location of the gathering to be announced.
INTERMENT: Will take place privately with +Richie’s family at a later date.
