On September 11, 2013 Richard P. Hughes, Jr. “Richie” Dearest Husband of Wilma “Babe” Hughes (nee Jackson) Devoted Father of Richard P. Hughes, III and his wife Darlene “Michelle”, Brian P. Hughes, Timothy P. Hughes and his Wife Karen, Karen H. Rupinski and her Husband Richard “Rup”, and Kathleen Hughes. Beloved Brother of James, and William Hughes, Bridget McKenzie, Mary Alt, and the late Charles Hughes, Dorothy Martin, Elizabeth “Erlene” Knapp, and Hanora McCormick. Loving Grandfather of Meghan and Kelly Rupinski, Katelyn and Kamryn Hughes, David Wayne, and Daniel Allen Capino, Maggie C. Funk, Sara and Jessica Hughes, and Melissa and Michael Clark. Loving Great Grandfather of Conner, Dylan, Gracie, and Joseph Patrick. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family invite friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230 on Sunday and Monday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 1532 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230 on Tuesday at 10:00am Interment in New Cathedral Cemetery.
