Mary Catherine Weisenburg's Obituary
Mary Weisenburg passed away January 19th, 2026. A devoted mother of five and "second mom" to her grandchildren. Mary's life was defined by her pure heart and open home. She was the ultimate host who cared for all with tea, kindness, and a listening ear. She taught us that the door should never be locked to someone in need. She saw the best in everyone and loved without condition. She leaves behind a legacy of grave and unconditional love.
Mary was the loving daughter of the late Theodore Swanner and the late Mary Towers (Nee Quinn) and and step daughter to the late Lee Towers dear sister of Donna Hamilton, Barbara Endzel the late Margie Sturgill (her twin), the late Patsy Schmidt, the late Lee Towers, the late Ron Towers, and the late Timothy Towers. Devoted mother of Milton Weisenburg, John Wroten, the late Bobby “Corn” Weisenburg, the late Teddy Weisenburg, and the late Faye Weisenburg. Admired grandmother to Megan Hayes (nee Weisenburg), David Kroh, III, Tyler Wroten, Tiffany Coleman. Cherished great-grandmother to Kingston Wroten, and Mavelynn Wroten.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point, MD 21230, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
