Wonderful memories of Cass. I worked with Cass over 20 years at ATAPCO in the Blaustein Building at 1 North Street.
One picture I recognize is Cass at her typewriter with an Orioles picture in the background. It was always an exciting day when Brooks Robinson dropped by the offices and all the ladies were a lot happier those days.
Three other pictures show Cass and Inez Treadwell. Inez was always classy and elegant without a hair out of place in her puffy bouffant hairstyle.
For many years Cass, Inez, Fran Bonkowski and I would travel to to Solomons Island on a Saturday in August where Grafton Mister was home trapping crabs for 2 days for my birthday celebration. We all worked at ATAPCO. Fran's husband Frank rounded out the group. We ate crabs, sides and desserts we brought, along with beer that also made it into the crab pot along with Old Bay. And there was a beautiful small Catholic church next door. What a wonderful place to get together in the summer.
I decided to call Cass on her birthday this year instead of just sending Christmas and birthday cards, but I was too late I will always remember Cass - her happy face, laugh thoughtfulness, and fun times.
Love to the family and friends of Cass and Jerry.
