On May 26, 2018 Lillian Rose Jupitz (nee Andrews) Dearest Wife of the late Carl E. Jupitz, Sr. Devoted Mother of Carl E. Jupitz, Jr., Lillian R. Lester and her Husband Kenneth R. and Frederick W. Jupitz and his Wife Claudia J. Beloved Sister of Albrey Andrews, Louisa Smart and Vilma Detzel and the late Richard Andrews, Elizabeth Maria Allgood, Harry Andrews, George Andrews, Fred Andrews, Albert Andrews, Bill Andrews and Rose Tibbs. Also Survived by 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
Lillian was born in London, England on April 5th, 1923. Her father was Henry William Andrews and her mother Elizabeth Marie Castleman. She was one of twelve children, 7 boys and 5 girls. Lillian met her husband when he was stationed in England during WWII. They married there and there first Son Carl, Jr. was born there. She came to the US after the war in 1945 and has lived in locust point ever since. She has lived on Andre Street for the past 68 years. She became a citizen on August 11, 1972. She was a wife and mother and worked part time for 21 years as a teacher's assistant at Francis Scott Key school. She loved to sew and made all her daughter’s dance costumes. She also crocheted and knitted which led to many family members receiving homemade gifts which will treasured for many years.
Family would like to invite friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230 on Wednesday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00am. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family request in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the charity of their choice.
