Karen Karash passed away on July 27, 2026. She was born in Kingston, PA to parents Bernard and Caroline Karash. She is survived by her siblings Debbie Karash and Bernard Karash, Jr., as well as various relatives and friends.
Karen relocated to Baltimore, MD in the 1990s. She was an empathetic and caring nurse at various hospitals in the Baltimore area for many years. Her nursing career led her to a position at a stem cell research organization.
Karen was a fun-loving, kind and compassionate person and a life-long animal lover. She had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a hand, especially when it involved caring for pets. Karen will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
