June "Suzi" Marie Fischer's Obituary
Suzi Fischer passed away on November 1, 2025. Beloved mother of Samantha Bowman and her husband Chuck Bowman. Cherished Mamooch of Taylor Ryan Bowman. Preceded in death by her loving friend of 38 years, John Cofiell. Dear daughter of the late Henry L. Taylor and Myrl P. Taylor (nee Palmer). Also survived by many relatives and friends.
Suzi retired from USF&G after many years of service. She taught Sunday school and became superintendent of Sunday school at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She was a long time volunteer of the Salvation Army, she was troop leader of Sunbeams in the late 1970s and 80s. For the past 26 years she worked the Angel Tree program for the Salvation Army. Her impact on the community is unmeasurable. She will be missed by her Salvation Army family. Suzi also loved to travel with her daughter. Her favorite places were Florida and Disney World.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Friday, November 7 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 11:00 am at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Meadow Ridge Cemetery.
