John Vernon II passed away on August 1, 2026. John was the beloved husband of Dolly Vernon. Treasured father of Angela Vernon Schueler and husband John Schueler, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Nathan Wilson and fiance Angel Novak, Devon Patrick and husband James, and John Schueler III and wife Victoria. Loving Pop of Mason, Johnathan, Nathan “Jr.”, Brody, and Austin. The love of his great grandchildren was what his heart would beat for. Loving brother of the late Donald Densmore, Ronnie, Kenny, Mike and Lynn Vernon. Also survived by his dear friend Herbie and many other relatives and friends.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm at the funeral home concluding the visitation.
