On September 7, 2019 John Wesley Thomas, Jr. Beloved Son of Wanda Faye Keyser and her husband the late John R. Keyser and the late John W. Thomas, Sr. Devoted father of Joshua D. Layne and his wife Tiffany and Justin M. Layne. Beloved godfather of Andre Butler. Loving brother of Robert L. Thomas, Sr., Charles F. Keyser, Jennifer M. Russell and Stephanie L. Scott and her husband Jeff. Beloved Pop Pop of Jordyn E. Layne, Joshua D. Layne, Jr. and Emma P. Layne. Loving lifelong friend of Rusty Brunner, Kim Johnson, Jackie Collins and Linda McFadden. Also survived by the mother of his children Nina Pearl Thomas and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Family invite friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230 on Sunday 12:00pm – 2:00pm and 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 5:00pm. Interment will be private. Family request in lieu of flowers please make donations to the place where John spent many hours helping the community, the Streetlite Christian Fellowship, 1121 Riverside Avenue, Baltimore MD 21230 and the Transformation Center
