RIP my cousin, and may God bless and comfort my family.

I knew John when we both attended Southern High School. He was an all around nice guy. I'm sorry to hear he has passed.

"When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself."
Through living his life, he touched the lives of countless people and shared himself with them. He created legacies and memories that will carry on for generations to come. Leading by example, his life was a demonstration of what hard work, courage, commitment, and the willingness to change can bring to a person. Cheerful, with a booming laugh that could light up a room, he was never one for much ceremony, but always ready for a joke. A man that wasn't afraid to love, or to lose. The world gained something when John Shade was born, and has lost something with his passing. He will always be loved and missed.
So sorry to hear we have lost another Locust Point Icon. He will truly be missed! Our thoughts are prayers are with the entire Shade family during this difficult time.
