John W. Macken Jr.'s Obituary
On Monday, March 18, 2024 John W. Macken, Jr. passed away. Beloved husband of Linda Macken. Cherished son of the late Marie and John Macken, Sr. Treasured father of Patrick Macken and wife Meaghan, and Joseph Macken and fiancée Cassandra Olivieri. Loving grandfather of Annalee Grace Macken. Dear cousin of Joy Jenkins. Also loved by his sidekick Dolly, and survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
John enjoyed life with a passion for football, baseball and hockey, and in true Baltimore fashion, he loved the Orioles. John will be remembered for his kindness to anyone he met and his dedication to his friends and family. Above all else, to John, family was everything. His biggest and truest passion in life was his wife, children and pets. John’s role of loving grandfather was one of his greatest honors, and in the words of his granddaughter, “Pop Pop, you’re my best friend.”
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 1532 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point, MD 21230. Interment will be private.
