Suddenly on December 13, 2013, Jerome S. Klemkowski, Sr. better known to his friends as “Jerry”, worked as a longshoreman at the Port of Baltimore for 39 years while owning Henry’s Bar in Locust Point, After retiring in Ocean City, he started a career as a realtor and at the age of 72 he got his CDL and drove the tram on the boardwalk. Beloved Husband of Johanna L. “Susan” Klemkowski Loving Son of the late Henry P. Klemkowski, Sr. and Estelle Klemkowski (Nee Drymala) Devoted Father of Matthew F. Capp and his Wife Mary, Jerome” Jerry” S. Klemkowski, Jr. and his Wife Sharon, Joseph M. Klemkowski, and the late Gregory P. and John R. Klemkowski. Loving Brother of Henry W. Klemkowski, and the late Irvin Klemkowski, Eugene J. Klemkowski, and Estelle “Lenni” Anthony. Beloved Grandfather of Teresa, Bryan, Joshua, Kristy, and Darla Klemkowski, Sarah Faulkner, Rebecca Lemon, Jennifer Bowers, and the late Jessica Klemkowski. Lifelong friend of Bill Wilson. Also survived by 19 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends,
Family invite friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230 on Wednesday and Thursday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 1532 E. Fort Avenue, Baltimore MD 21230 on Friday at 10:00am. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
