Janice Ann Creager's Obituary
On January 23rd, 2013, Janice “Jan” Ann Creager passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. The loving and devoted daughter of the late Peter Creager Jr. & Carolyn Anna Creager (née Schwanke). Jan is survived by her adoring older sisters, Diann Creager & Carolyn Creager Stencil, her loving brother and sister-in-law Peter Creager III and Trudy Creager. She was cherished by her nieces and nephew Jennifer & Daniel Westbrook, Jessica Creager, and Peter IV & Erin Creager. Her great niece and nephews Lauren, Cameron, Aiden, and Maxwell will remember and be reminded of her great spirit and kindness. She also loved her canine companions, past and present, Sadie, Toby, Noah, Gracie, and Zoie with all of her heart.
Janice lived a life dedicated to the service of others, taking care of her mother throughout illness, and giving her time and resources to anyone in need of help. She worked in the freight forwarding industry for many years, establishing many great relationships and memories with all of her fellow industry professionals before retiring early to be a fulltime caretaker to her mother. Jan loved to travel, especially to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, where she made many fond memories with her family and closest friends. To all of her family and friends Janice will be remembered as a person with the truest of purest of spirit, always putting others ahead, lending and giving all she had with one simple expectation…that her love was felt.
