I will miss seeing Jim when I volunteer at the Bookthing. He had a great smile.
My thoughts and prayers are with Jim's family. Linda Jo Nelson, Maryland Science Center.
Jim was a good friend for many years. I am sorry we did not keep in touch better over the years. My deepest sympathies.
Jim was always a friendly face when I came in the the Adult Learning Center to tutor for three years. He always seemed to be upbeat, and helpful. His warm presence and big heart will be greatly missed.

Jim volunteered extensively: The Book Thing of Baltimore, The Greater Homewood Literacy Center, The Maryland Science Center, to name a few. Volunteerism and community involvement were lifelong committments for him. I suspect nobody knows that Jim was an assistant Girl Scout Leader in the mid 1970's. Jim, you had a generous heart and you gave so much to so many people; you will be sorely missed.
