Henry W. Kazmierski, Sr. dearest husband of the late Ruth June Kazmierski (nee Smith) Devoted father of Henry W. Kazmierski, Jr. and his wife Donna, Joseph M. Kazmierski and his wife Kathy, Steven M. Kazmierski and Deborah A. Kazmierski. Dear brother of Evelyn Cuddy. Loving cousin of John Ballard and his wife Holly. Loving Grandfather of Kris Kazmerski and his wife Maggie, Adam Kalafos, Joseph Kazmierski and his wife Megan, Mindy Klemkowski and her husband Chaz, Katie Spielman and her husband Ryan and Scott Campbell. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
Henry enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17 in 1942. He served aboard the USS Essex as an Aviation Ordnanceman during the Japanese suicide attacks on the US Navy Task Forces 58 and 38 during the invasion of Okinawa and the attacks on the Japan Home Islands.
Funeral services will be private. Interment with military honors will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the charity of their choice.
