George Aubrey Melton's Obituary
On September 22, 2024, George Aubrey Melton passed away. Dear son of the late Eleanor and Clarence Melton, Sr. Beloved father of Kimberly Miller, Lori Blalock and husband James Blalock, the late George P. Melton, Contessa L. Melton, and John Melton. Cherished step father of Rebecca Tanner. Cherished brother of Cindy L. Sadler, “Moe” Joseph Melton, the late Jane Krell, the late Clarence J. Melton, Jr. and the late John Melton, Sr. Loving grandfather of Lane Lester who is currently a marine in the service, Cody Lester, Jacob Kearney, Brooklyn Kearney, Madelynn Blalock, Lucas Blalock, Joseph Clark, Jr. and Logan Clark. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
George was born in South Baltimore and was a mechanic and car painter. He enjoyed his craft and was always wanting to paint or fix someone’s car any chance he got. Outside of cars, George enjoyed spending time at the bar with his friends, he was a regular at Parsley’s Pub. George’s family will remember him as a kind man who would give you his shirt off his back.
There will be a celebration for life to honor George in the Summer of 2025.
