On Saturday, April 27, 2024, George “Geo” Paul Melton passed away. Beloved son of Catherine and Richard O’Brien. Treasured grandson of the late Teresa and Paul J. Crook, Sr. Cherished brother of Contessa Lizetta Melton. Dear nephew of Paul J. Crook, Jr. and wife Mary. Loving uncle of Joseph Clark, Jr. and Logan Clark. Dear friend of Robbie Stebbings and Brandon Kennedy. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
George loved driving to Ocean City, fishing, crabbing and wearing no sunscreen like a true Baltimorian. His family will remember him as kind, selfless and generous. Even if he wasn’t working himself, George would give his last dollar to someone in need.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made towards funeral expenses.
