We have many good memories of our former pastor Fr Frank over the years but some of our fondest involved the way he embraced the difficulties presented by the pandemic . He was very supportive of our unique and wonderful outdoor Masses on the lawn of the beautiful St Francis hilltop campus , as well as allowing the campus to be used by various choral and orchestral groups for outdoor concerts - such welcome events in a very trying time .
We only hope that he had the opportunity to enjoy much of his retirement years . Our prayers are with Fr Frank and his family .
We have many positive memories of Father Frank but some of our fondest involved the way he embraced work arounds during the pandemic . He was very supportive of our ongoing outdoor Sunday Masses on the lawn , with Parishioners bringing their lawn chairs for Mass . It was unique and wonderful . He also allowed our beautiful hilltop campus to be used by various choral and orchestral groups for free outdoor concerts - welcome local events in a difficult time .
We’re so thankful for the years of service to CCSFX parish. Fr Frank was a wonderful shepherd for our flock and knew how to challenge us to grow in our faith journey and fellowship. He was always so encouraging of our teens as they grew up. Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord 🙏
Father Frank Brauer was a gentle man, a wonderful spiritual guide and confessor, someone who genuinely cared for the people of the Catholic Community of Saint Francis Xavier, especially the children, and welcomed all. My wife and I had the privilege of being in a Lenten small group with him for several years and have many fond memories of that time. Many of those involve watching him bring seminarians to be a part of the group while he mentored them in their vocation. Our daughters always felt safe, welcome, and respected when around him. We were all sorry to see him leave to enjoy a much-deserved retirement. He was a good priest.
Eternal rest grant unto him, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
He was kind and honorable. Always sincere.
Thank you father frank.

So sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the Brauer family.
