Faith Jena Tyranski's Obituary
On June 1, 2023, at 9:20 PM at the age of 22 after a courageous 7-month battle with small cell ovarian cancer, our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Faith Jena Tyranski, was called home by God.
Faith was born on July 11, 2000, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She was a wonderful daughter to Gene and Karen, a loving big sister to Holly, a sweet niece to Glenn, Susan, Gary, and Vicki, and a dear cousin to Mary, Grace, and Anna.
Over the years, Faith grew up in several towns including Orlando, FL, York, PA, and Williamsburg, VA. After graduating Warhill High School in Williamsburg, VA, Faith relocated to Baltimore, MD in 2018 to attend school at Loyola University where she was a proud member of the Loyola Swim & Diving team. At each stop, Faith developed countless friendships that were strong, tight, and steadfast. She had a unique ability of bringing people together and making sure newcomers felt welcomed and loved. Faith helped bring happiness and laughter into the lives of so many. It was at Loyola where she met Reece Lenaz who became her closest friend and confidant. Additionally, in Baltimore, Faith met her special friend Miguel Roman Quintana whom she loved deeply.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an English minor from Loyola, Faith's planned to attend medical school and while awaiting acceptance she started her professional career with positions at Chilangos, Mucho Gusto, and [solid core]. She touched the lives of so many. Her personality was ideally suited to all of the roles she performed. Faith displayed an unmatched work ethic in all of her jobs that she held. She was respected and loved by her employers, co-workers, and customers.
Faith displayed tremendous strength and courage throughout her battle against ovarian cancer. She continued to live life how she wanted to which included travelling to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and a trip to Coachella putting a check on a bucket list item she had all while undergoing her chemotherapy treatments!
Faith was predeceased by her loving grandparents Andrew and Nancy Tyranski. She is survived by her mother Karen, father Gene, sister Holly, her beloved English Bulldog Bronco, uncles Glenn & Gary, aunts Susan & Vicki, and cousins Mary, Grace, & Anna.
There will be a viewing at Charles L Stevens Funeral Home at 1501 E. Fort Ave Baltimore, MD 21230 on June 4, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 1532 E. Fort Ave Baltimore, MD 21230 at 11:00 am on June 5, 2023
