Eleanor May Smith “Bootie”
1/7/1955 – 6/2/2020
On June 2, 2020 Eleanor May Smith “Bootie” Loving companion of Moe E. Melton. Devoted mother of Kaitlyn E. Smith and her loving companion Joseph Lanasa. Beloved sister of Margaret A. Bowen and her deceased husband Ollie, Roberta L. Myer and her husband Gary, Angela P. McCauley and her husband Stu, the late Catherine M. Markowski and her surviving husband Gary and the late Barbara M. Lane and her husband Paul. Loving grandmother of Izabella M. Lanasa and Carlin J. Lanasa. Lifelong loving best friend of Shirley Cole. Also survived by Taylor Mildenberg and Chuck Norfolk whom she thought of as her own children. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. The family invite friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point MD 21230 on Sunday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions the funeral home can only allow 10 people at a time in the funeral home. Everyone entering the funeral home will be required to wear a mask. Please allow additional time if you are planning on coming to the funeral home.
Interment and graveside service will be held at Holy Cross on Monday at 11:30am. If you are planning on attending the graveside service cemetery restrictions will only allow 10 people at the graveside any additional people will be required to remain in their cars for the duration of the service.
