Eileen Frances Stuhler's Obituary
Eileen Frances Stuhler, 73, of Forest Hills, Queens, New York and later Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 4th, 2023 after a brief battle with pneumonia at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Eileen was born on May 5, 1950 to the late Walter and Frances Quinn in Queens, NY. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s Commercial High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1967. After high school, she worked as an Executive Secretary for Standard Brands, Inc. in New York City from 1967-1977. In September 1973, she married Frank Stuhler of the Bronx, NY. They welcomed a daughter, Karen, in 1981. Eileen worked as a Secretary in the Office of Religious Education at Our Lady of Mercy Church Roman Catholic Church in Queens, NY from 1990 until her retirement from the Diocese of Brooklyn in 2013.
In 2014, Eileen and Frank relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in order to be closer to their grandchildren, Susanna and Jack Daley. Eileen was a beloved Nana and took great joy in being a part of their day-to-day lives.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Frances (Pilkington) Quinn and sister Maureen Quinn. She is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter Karen Daley, son-in-law Michael Daley, and grandchildren Susanna and Jack Daley of Baltimore, Maryland.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 8th, 2023 at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church at 11 am on Saturday, December 9th, 2023. A memorial mass will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Forest Hills, NY, in Spring 2024 followed by a celebration of life in Queens, NY.
