On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Donald “Don” Lee Beecher, Sr. passed away. Beloved son of the late Homer and Doris Beecher. Cherished father of Donald Beecher, Jr. and Kelly Beecher. Treasured brother of the late Rosie Beecher, the late Doris Potee, Eddie Beecher and Mike Beecher. Loving grandfather of Noah Beecher, Laney Beecher, Journey Horz and Alyssa Gregory. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
Don was a lifelong resident of South Baltimore, a long time bartender at Wrotens bar and a big fan of Baltimore teams, the Orioles and the Ravens. Don enjoyed life with a love of sports cars, gambling, and playing darts every Saturday. Fitting to his Baltimore roots, Don’s last meal was a Maryland crab cake, he loved them and coddies.
The family invites friends to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at VFW Star Spangled Banner Memorial Post 10078, 425 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm concluding the Celebration of Life.
