Dennis James Stitt's Obituary
On Sunday, December 31, 2023, Dennis James Stitt passed away. Devoted son of the late Lloyd B. Stitt, the late Anna M. Retz, and the late William F. Retz, Sr. Cherished brother of the late David B. Stitt (Marsha), the late Lorraine M. Vecchioni (Otts), the late Wayne C. Retz (Kathy) and William F. Retz, Jr. (Linda Anne). Beloved father figure to John Talbott and others throughout his life and cherished uncle of Cortney B. Stitt among other nieces and nephews. Treasured cousin to Michael Walls, the entire Walls family and a host of other cousins and relatives, too numerous to name. Close friend to many whom he considered family.
The Family invites friends to call at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc, 1501 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point, MD 21230 on Friday, January 5 th from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6pm – 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at 8 pm at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA or a local animal rescue center.
