Momma Dar- you are already greatly missed. Your physical absence will leave a huge hole in our lives but your memory will live on. Personally, I will miss our talks around the kitchen table the most. So many great memories shared and laughs so hard, that I would leave with my ribs hurting. I will smile just thinking of those times. You are an amazing wife , mom and grandmother and I know you will continue to watch over everyone. We love you and miss you.
Darlene was my "bonus mom." I waited 49 years to find her and, although my time with her was not as long as I ever wanted it to be, it was the epitome of quality over quantity. I loved her for so many reasons. She was a dear, fun, loving, kind, generous woman. Our visits never failed to end with tons of laughter and sometimes a few tears. Darlene would share her life's stories with me and I would always end my visit with her in awe and admiration for what a strong person she was. She raised two great men on her own. Her sons' love and respect are living examples of what an amazing mother she was.
God bless Darlene and all who loved her. And may God give Mike, John and Ernie peace in their hearts and the assurance that they WILL see Darlene again.
