Betty Lois Biggs (nee Locklear)'s Obituary
Betty Lois Biggs, 88 of Baltimore, MD, passed peacefully surrounded by family on January 12th, 2025.
She was born in Lumberton, North Carolina in 1936. Once arriving in Baltimore she advocated for the American Indian Center and later worked for the Baltimore City Sheriffs Department, and retired after 35 years in Equal Opportunity Employment for the City of Baltimore. She was a beacon of strength and proudly dedicated her love and time to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She fed and extended her love to anyone who walked in her door.
She was preceded in death by James E Smith and is survived by her Children, Sydney, Rebecca and Frederick Gibson. Grandchildren Laise & Dr. Joshua Levin, Ashley Epling, Tyler Gibson, Frederick Gibson III. Great Grandchildren Noelle & Troy Harkless, Alexander & Bellamy Levin, Braylin & Frederick Gibson IIII, and Kenleigh.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm and 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Graveside funeral service will be held on January 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD 21229
