On Saturday, January 18, 2025, Barbara Ann Yeakley passed away suddenly. Beloved wife of James Yeakley, Jr. Cherished daughter of the late Kenneth and Anna Smith. Treasured sister of Cynthia Gwaltney and husband Don, the late Darlene Shedlock, and Eleasa Cundiff and husband Jim. Dear sister-in-law of Charlotte Rich and the late Lucille Drowsky. Admired aunt of Daniel Gwaltney and wife Heather, Matthew Shedlock, Christina Gwaltney, Brian Gwaltney and wife Kacy, Eric Shedlock and fiance Melissa, Hannah Kenney and husband Dominick, Abigail Cundiff and partner Aaron, Elizabeth Cundiff and partner Vinnie, Jeffrey Rich and wife Naoko, Kevin Rich and wife Kellie. Loving great-aunt of Dylan Gwaltney, Laney Gwaltney, Leah Gwaltney, Julianna Gwaltney, Lyla Gwaltney, Riley Shedlock, Ryan Rich, Colby Rich, Lincoln Rich and Austen Rich. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Glen Haven Cemetery.
