Michael and I would like to express our sincere and heartfelt sympathies to Ann's devoted husband, Jim, and to the family on the loss of their beloved mother, as we mourn the loss of our good friend and neighbor. We are very saddened at Ann's passing and will treasure our memories of Ann always . Anne was very proud of her family and delighted in showing photos and expressing her pride in their many accomplishments. We also admired Ann's strong faith in God as shown forth in so many of her acts of kindness and benevolence. Always with a smile, Ann warmed the hearts of friends and neighbors alike and all those around her. I knew Ms. Anna Catterton from working with her at the State Dept. Of Ed. (I also went to school with her son '75) My favorite memory of her was when I stopped by her desk once and she said, "stay right there." Apparently she noticed a small hole in my sweater and proceeded to pull out a needle and thread. She fixed the hole while I stood there, just like my mother would have. She was an amazing lady and I'm glad I got to know her. I'm sure she will be missed by many that knew and loved her. RIP Ms. Anna.
