I first met Al in March of 1979. He was coordinating a biblical research class presented by The Way International (a biblical research, teaching and fellowship ministry) called "Power for Abundant Living" After I completed the class, Al and I fellowshipped together for many years including a few years in the early 1980's when he and Tommy shared a home with my wife Betsy and I in Perry Hall Md. Al was a great guy with a wonderful heart and we had some great times together. We lost contact after some time and then one day Al called me and asked if he could return to fellowship. He did return to fellowship for a couple of years after having some severe health issues. We then lost track of Al and we (Betsy, myself and our entire fellowship) are saddened to hear that he has fallen asleep. I use this term (fallen asleep) because those of us who knew Al knew that he was a born again christian and has eternal life. Al was a follower of "The Way Ministry" and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He currently awaits the return of Christ. Al will be missed but I believe that in the fullness of time we will see him again. Until such time, rest in peace my brother.
