On Monday, November 15, 2021 John Thomas Furman, Sr. loving husband of Patricia Furman (nee Huovinen). Beloved son of the late Evelyn May and George S. Furman, Sr. Admired father of Paula and her husband Logan Starr, Jr., Tesia and her husband Eric Basso, John Thomas Furman, Jr. and his wife Cherish, Klaudia and her husband Brian Bateman. Dearest brother of Clara Tomas and her husband Gregory, Evelyn Anderson and her husband Karl, as well as the late Claudia, Mary, Nancy, George Jr., and Roberta. Treasured grandfather of Logan Starr, III, Thomas Starr, Madison Ruhling, Connor Bateman, Mason Bateman, Francesca Basso, Enzo Basso, John Thomas Furman III, and Noella Furman. Great Grandfather of Easton Starr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The Family invites friends to call at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1501 E. Fort Avenue Locust Point, MD 21230 on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 7:00-9:00pm, and Monday, November 22, 2021 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 1532 E. Fort Avenue, Locust Point, MD 21230. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone entering the funeral home and church will be required to wear a mask.
