Gloria DeBarry was a beautiful, amazing person and community activist back in the 1980's! Everyone loved and respected her, and she got along with all of us in South Baltimore well. I remember her multi tasking, and I remember her amazing ability to get people galvanized to address problems in the neighborhood! She planned the Drug Summit at the SoBo Police District andhundreds of people attended. No one has done more for the neighborhood since then! She will be missed. Her daughters Renee and Kim were so kind to their mom since the beginning of her illness! She would have been so proud of her beautiful daughters...Sending love to the family!
