Our family has so many wonderful memories that were made with our beloved Aunt Sophie. Our annual Halloween dates, Chrisciki making at the church, the Locust Point Festival, eating at the diner, grocery shopping, the hair salon, sitting on her stoop, the ice cream truck, dancing in her living room, painting our nails, decorating for the holidays (yes, I fixed the curtains), rolling our hair, shopping on Ritchie Highway, visiting with our dogs and even the mini pigs, and many doctor's appointments with Dr. Dart. Aunt Sophie had great stories of both of her Joe's, her dog and cat, her beloved salon, and a doozy about prohibition. She was always pleasant, had a sound ear and gave great advice. So many talks... 100 years was too short for a woman so deeply loved by so many. She was the aunt that we desperately needed and she will be terribly missed.
