I really regret not being here to view my brother Joe's services. I just found out Sunday, a week later, that my brother passed away. My brother Joe was my hero. When I was young he always took up for me when I had bullies picking on me. He taught me to take up for myself and not be afraid. When my brother went to Vietnam and he came back it really changed him, as I know it changed alot of people that went to Vietnam. My brother called me one Christmas Eve and he asked me "do you think I would go to hell for what I did in Vietnam?" and I said "no you already visited hell when you were there, and you did what any great American would do". My brother told me the best thing that happened to me was when I made a sign for him saying "Welcome home Joe". He told me that he would Always remember that sign. I want to Thank The Dodas for taking care of my brothers services. They are family to me and my family. I also want to thank Pastor Michael Brewer who also has been an inspiration to our family. Most of All I want to thank my neice Tina and her husband Jerry for being there for my brother and for the dedication that they gave him. God Bless you all for what you did. As one of my Dad's favorite songs stated "I'll see you again". Joe I will see you again in Paradise. Love, Mike, Ann and Family.
