She was one of the most sweetest people I've met in the family. Auntie Jean was one of the people who inadvertently got me into art at a very young age and helped me become the person I am today. She was a inspiration to me over the years, especially knowing that I wasn't alone as a another creative in the family alongside others like Andre, my grandfather (Percy Hoyrd) and Michael. I sometimes regret that we didn't get the opportunity to get to know each other as well. But it's okay. I still cherish every moment that we had together in one way or another. I still remember her to this day as being that artistic woman who inspired me to go a lot further with my skills and talents that I have been working hard towards and have been blessed to have. May she rest in eternal peace.
